A crystalline, purple, ruby color leads to classic Cabernet Franc aromas and flavors of pomegranate, red berries, black currant and blackberry supported by hints of minerals and rhubarb notes. The wine’s concentrated flavors are complimented by an elegant structure, supple texture and soft, integrated tannins with a balance of fresh acidity. Great personality and purity of flavor is achieved without the introduction of wood barrels during the fermentation or maturation, which occurs exclusively in stainless steel tanks. Enjoyable in its youth, the Bellanotte Cabernet Franc will age gracefully for four to five years.
